Kiva
In January 2008, NEOVIA Financial initiated micro-lending sponsorships to entrepreneurs all over the world via Kiva. As a global organization, we believe it’s important to provide people across the globe with opportunities to become economically independent, improve their standard of living and alleviate poverty. We engaged employees at all levels of the organization to choose entrepreneurs for micro-loans, making this cause a part of our every-day consciousness.

Green initiatives
We are working toward becoming a “greener” company by:

• Recycling bottles and cans
• Discontinuing the use of paper cups at employee coffee stations
• Using environmentally-friendly cleaning products
• Offering preferred parking spots for car poolers
• Using conference calls instead of face-to-face meetings requiring air travel
• Printing NEOVIA Financial’s annual report on Revive Silk, which is 50% recycled paper

Local charity support
NEOVIA Financial’s Charity Committee meets on a regular basis to review charity requests and fundraising initiatives brought forward by our local employee base. A recent survey steered the Committee’s focus toward causes that are important to our employees.
